Team Cair-ity


Maria Paparella, runs the day-to-day operations of Chair-ity. This includes managing inventory, arranging for and making deliveries, arranging for and receiving furniture and financial donations, and coordinating with Summit County Children’s Services on behalf of the foster care graduates. She is currently a junior at Western Reserve Academy and is active in a variety of activities, including: School Ambassador, yearbook committee, prom committee, three-year starter and captain of the girls varsity soccer team (goalkeeper), three-year player on the girls lacrosse team. Maria also plays club soccer for the Cleveland White Caps and lives with her parents, Mike and Jackie, and her dog Nikko, in Akron, Ohio.

Board Members

Annie Neill is the Dean of Students at Western Reserve Academy. Mrs. Neill oversees the entire student body of the school, including boarding and day students, and student related non-athletic programs. Mrs. Neill is a graduate of Connecticut College where she played varsity lacrosse. Prior to WRA, Mrs. Neill worked as a social worker in New England, focusing on children’s issues.

Joseph Reece is the retired global head of equity capital markets at Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Reece, a graduate of Children’s Services himself, is involved in a variety of charitable organizations in New York City and Los Angeles, where he lives with his wife and two children. Mr. Reece earned an undergraduate business degree and a law degree from the University of Akron, and earned his LLM from Georgetown University.

Gregg Eisenberg is the firmwide managing partner of Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Eisenberg is a graduate of the University of Rochester and the Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law and is active in a variety of charitable organizations across Ohio. Mr. Eisenberg lives in Cleveland with his wife and two children.
